A mix of cinematic genres and styles collide on November 13 at the Cannon St. Arts Center in Charleston, with a free screening of the most recent Indie Grants short films. The program will start at 6pm and be immediately followed by Q&A with the filmmakers and reception.
The screening is free and open to the public. Secure your spot by RSVPing here.
Indie Grants is a training and professional development program from Trident Technical College for independent filmmakers and other production professionals in South Carolina. It produces high-quality narrative projects that have screened at festivals such as Sundance, Tribeca, Palm Springs, Austin, Stiges, San Mediera, Dragoncon, and hundreds more.
“No other state in this country has a program like this,” said Indie Grants Producer Brad Jayne. “It’s proven to be a powerful way to show off the production community we have here in South Carolina.”
“This screening will really celebrate that,” continued Matt Storm, Director of the South Carolina Film Commission. “These are inspired stories made by our state's talented filmmakers, and this is a great opportunity to see them."
