2025 SOUTH CAROLINA YOUNG FILMMAKERS PROJECT SCREENING ON APRIL 26
The South Carolina Film Commission and Trident Technical College have announced the finalists for the 2025 South Carolina Young Filmmakers Project. Each of these two-minute short films were created by South Carolina high school students and will be shown on the big screen at a special event on April 26 in Columbia.
Over 90 films were entered, and each was required to use a flashlight as a prop as the creative judge. A panel of judges reviewed and scored all projects to determine the finalists and winners.
The event will take place at 3p at Spotlight Cinemas Capital 8 Theater (201 Columbia Mall Blvd., Columbia, SC, 29223). The program will include Q&A with the filmmakers and announcement of the winners, as well as a reception immediately following.
The screening is free and all are welcome.
