YOUNG FILMMAKER PROJECT FINALISTS SCREEN AT VIRTUAL FILM FEST
2021 Winners Announced!

The 2021 Young Filmmakers Project Virtual Film Festival was held on June 5 via Zoom webinar. Each of the finalists’ films were screened, with engaging Q&As with each filmmaker. View the film festival above.

The Young Filmmakers Project is an annual filmmaking competition for South Carolina high school students, from the South Carolina Film Commission and Trident Technical College.  Designed to encourage media arts education and to explore the craft and career, it’s accompanied by a series of instructional programs such as screenings, meet-ups and panels with South Carolina crew and department heads.

The winners were also announced at the film festival. Selected through a rigorous scoring process by a panel of judges, final results are below. View all the films above.
