FREE INDIE GRANTS SCREENING AT 2018 INDIE GRITS FILM FESTIVAL IN COLUMBIA
Columbia’s Indie Grits Film Festival, one of the Southeast’s premiere independent film events, hosted a special screening of the 2017 Indie Grants short films on April 14th, 2018. The Nickelodeon Theater was packed with a rollicking crowd, with the filmmakers on hand for a lively Q&A.
Indie Grants staff were also on hand to discuss the application and funding process, with 2018 applications due June 29. The Indie Grants produce and fund short films by indigenous South Carolina filmmakers. Showing off South Carolina stories and talent to the world. Recent shorts have screened at Sundance, Slamdance, Austin, Palm Springs, Nashville, and many more.
